1) Promote the concept of increasing the investment into companies in the Duluth/Superior area

2) Promote the concept of a fiber optics/open source Research and Innovation Institute (ideas get built with investment dollars and support to take the idea from concept to market)

3) Promote the concept of a Bandwidth/Open Source conference in Duluth (for the discussion of new applications and how fiber infrastructure can be used to get those ideas to market quickly)
